This dive site is located at the Southeast coast of Santa Maria Island near the Vila Islet. This is an exposed dive site that presents strong currents and should be done only by experienced divers. On the bottom big schools of parrot fish, groupers, breams, rainbow wrasses, ornate wrasses, and even big size dusky groupers, comb groupers, stingrays, and white trevallys will be observed. Near the surface in the blue, big schools of almaco jacks and barracudas can be seen. During the summer, the encounters with manta rays are common.
