This dive site is located 200m from the East Coast of Flores Island in front of Lomba harbor. This dive site is ideal for the observation of pelagic life and big barred hog-fish. The diver can stare at the “window” to the blue looking at big schools of barracudas, almaco jacks, Bermuda sea chub, blue runners, white travellys, and Atlantic bonito, which cruises at mid-water. In order to make the dive more exciting, sometimes one can observe the interaction of these species with dense bait-balls of mackerel. Over the bottom the common fauna of Azores such as groupers, breams, parrot-fish, Guinean puffer fish, damselfish, rainbow wrasses and ornate wrasses can be seen.
