This dive site is located just in front of Vila do Corvo, at the south coast of Corvo Island. It is a platform that drops from 8m to 20m deep. The bottom is constituted by sand and some rocks of big dimensions. This is an easy dive because currents are very seldom present. The fauna presents common species of Azorean waters such as breams, groupers, damselfish, rainbow wrasses, ornate wrasses. In the crevices morays and fork-beards are common. At the end of the platform, pelagic life such as almaco jacks, white travellys, and derbios, that will not lose the “opportunity” if a school of mackerel approaches.
