This dive site is located in the north coast of Pico very close to shore and can be done by boat or by shore. The site is constitude by arches, caves, tunnels and protected areas. Despite not being a deep dive (max depth 18m), it is an area with an high rate of swell reason why one should plan very carrefully the dive bearing in mind  the currents and the sea conditions. The difficulty of this dive depends only of the sea conditions which can change very rapidly in Azores.The fauna includes: slipper lobsters, octopus, mullets, stingrays, black morays, parrot fish, rainbow wrasses, and ornate wrasses.
