The Black Islet (Ilhéu Negro) belongs to the protected area of Monte da Guia. The type of dive depends on the path choosen acording to the experience of the divers. In the most interior part of the cave strong currents can be present. The max depth of this dive is 20 m. The entrance of the cave presents a sand bottom. In the exterior the usual fauna constituted by yellow damsels-fish, common groupers, parrot fish, octopus, etc.. In the cave narwal shrimps can be observed. The highlight of this dive is the light effects that can be observed from the interior of the cave towards the entrance of it.
