This wreck is part of the Underwater Archaeological Park of Angra do Heroismo Bay. This steam ship with 78,67m long was built in London in 1873 and did the line between Portugal and Brazil. In February 1878 she sunk in the bay just in front of S. Sebastião fortress. Two yellow buoys mark the spot. Explanation slates and a guidance line can be found on the bottom for helping the divers. This is a very easy and shallow dive.  Along with the wreckage, the common fauna of Azorean waters such as scorpion fish, rainbow wrasses, ornate wrasses, damsel fish, breams, parrot fish, and groupers, can be observed. In the sand areas, also Wide-eyed flounders, Guinean puffer fish, and mullets can also be seen.
